THE MAHOGANY BULLET !! Custom 1 of 1 Build !! BAD DONATO is a numerous award winning, custom Sam Donato built, 1 of 1 gentleman’s racer. This "Mahogany Bullet" was loosely designed after the infamous BABY BOOTLEGGER built by George Crouch. Hand built in 1998 by Sam Donato, her design is extremely unique and structurally built to aircraft standards with 4 layers of cold molded mahogany, using select Honduran Mahogany for the exterior planking. In total, over 1.8 MILES of mahogany planking was used in the build! A recent refit was completed including fresh varnish, chrome polished, manifolds and risers replaced. The boat has always been garage or boathouse kept since new, and currently sits on a new trailer in perfect mechanical & cosmetic condition waiting for a new caretaker.
